Since the beginning of the 2023 season, Mtchedlishvili has been a principal soloist at Theater Magdeburg in Germany, where he continues to distinguish himself through a wide-ranging and dynamic repertoire. His recent roles at Theater Magdeburg include: -Gerdt in Eugen Engel’s Grete Minde - Chelio in Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges - Don Fernando in Beethoven’s Fidelio - The Forester in Janácek’s The Cunning Little Vixen - The Mandarin in Puccini’s Turandot -Escamillo in Bizet’s Carmen - Lorenzo in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi Marchese d’Obigny in Verdi’s La Traviata In addition to his operatic engagements, he appeared in concert as Kurwenal in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde in Augsburg, Germany, further showcasing his versatility and affinity for the dramatic German repertoire. Upcoming performances include: ー Biterolf in Wagner’s Tannhauser - September 2025 Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s La Traviata - tober 2025 Over the course of his career, Mtchedlishvili has received numerous distinctions, including First Prize at the Don Matteo Colucci International Vocal Competition in Italy, a Special Honorary Award at the Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition, and recognition as a finalist in the Accademia Belcanto Singing Competition in Graz. He has refined his vocal and artistic skills under the mentorship of internationally renowned figures such as Teresa Berganza, Giacomo Aragall, Grace Bumbry, Brigitte Fassbaender, Deborah Polaski, Neil Shicoff, Jürgen Flimm, Olga Kapanina, Natela Nicoli, Abbie Furmansky, Caroline Gruber, among others.
